Nature Nanny's Most Loved Nature Destinations
If you need ideas on a good location for a hike or where to meet,
these are some of my most loved nature destinations.

Elmer and Edna Culver Springs
3667 Egre Road, DeForest, WI 53532
The springs has a lot to offer. Crystal clear bubbling water, prairie grasses and flowers, pine trees and lots of birds, Elmer and Edna Culver Springs is magical. It is the largest spring in Southern Wisconsin. GPS can be goofy here. You will see this sign on Egre Road. If the parking lot is full, there is additional parking on Meadowbrooke Circle. This trail is easy peasy. Kids really love this trail.

Twin Pines Ice Age Trail
Lodi, WI
7605 Lodi Springfield Rd, Lodi, WI 53555
This is my favorie hike. The trail twists and turns and the plants and trees change as you go. You go from shade to light and back to shade again. This trail always reminds me of the movie Avitar. The trail is moderate intensity. Bring bug spray in the buggy months. There is a ton of beautiful vegitation.

Pheasant Branch Conservancy
4864 Pheasant Branch Rd, Middleton, WI 53562
Pheasant Branch is breath taking. It offers oaks, savannas, creeks, wetlands, prairies, boardwalks and so much more. Children love playing in the creek. Depending on where you catch the trail, it can be easy or moderate.
