Forest Therapy Guide
I owned a large service business. I suffered from stress, anxiety, fatigue and burnout. After the sale of my company, I became a caregiver and nanny. I noticed a profound shift in myself and the little ones I cared for when we made a daily routine of outdoor play. Noticing this shift led me to want to know more. Why did we feel better?

It is my passion to facilitate nature exploration and outdoor play for kiddos. Children who spend time in nature are happier, healthier and more confident.
I also enjoy working with adults that want to rediscover their childlike wonder, immersed in nature, while boosting their physical and mental health at the same time.
I am passionate about connecting corporations and organizations with nature. My goal is to help the entire team recharge, reconnect and feel better.
Each session invites participants to use thier senses in the present moment. I have created the experience to be light hearted, explorative and playful.
I would love to chat and see if spending time in nature is a good fit for you, your family or organization.

I am accepting of all backgrounds, identities and beliefs.
Nature says, " I accept and surround you in all you are."
Why Nature Works?
It can help with

Reduces Stress
Nature enhances human empathy and reduces stress levels. Nature triggers the body's parasympathetic nervous system.
Improved Cognitive Function

Scientists are finding evidence that being in nature has a profound impact on our brains and our behavior, helping us to increase our attention capacity, creativity, cognitive flexibility and focus.
Boosts Immunity
When we spend time in nature, our bodies increase the number and activity of a type of white blood cell called natural killer cells or NK. These cells kill tumor- and virus-infected cells in our bodies.

Improves Confidence
Four out of five children say they feel more confident in themselves after spending time participating in outdoor activities.
Improves Mood
Research has found nature makes us happy.
Restful Sleep
Being outdoors helps to set the sleep cycle. When we spend time outside, we sleep longer and better!
